When I have the task of feeding Avery in the morning, I give him a big (kiddie) bowl of oatmeal cereal mixed with some apple sauce. It’s more laziness on my part that I do this because the cereal by itself actually tastes good.

Melvin is definitely the more diligent parent when it comes to feeding Aves. He feeds Avery plain oatmeal to get him used to the idea of eating food in their most basic form. Then, he follows it up with some fruit and yogurt.

By the way, here’s an article on Probiotics in Infant Nutrition published by the International Association of Infant Food Manufacturers.
